Ptahil Angel
Ptahil ( ), also known as Ptahil-Uthra (uthra = angel or guardian) in Mandaean mythology, is the Fourth Life, the third of three emanations from the First Life, Hayyi Rabbi, following Yushamin and Abatur. Ptahil-Uthra does not constitute the demiurge in Mandaeism; rather, he plays that position because he is considered as the creator of the material world in the Ginza Rabba, frequently possessing an innate malignancy.
